History

The concept design of the Shade Sail Structure was born over coffee and scribbled down on a napkin more than 10 years ago. Fast forward to 2020... a demand emerged for a shade sail that could "move with the sun" for a local assisted living facility.

After months at the drawing board, we were awarded a patent for "Shade Sail Structure Inc." and thus, our company was established!

At Shade Sail Structures, we engage skilled licensed fabricators in the Lynchburg, Virginia area. We strive to provide the best product for our valued customers! We are proud to partner with locally run businesses with the manufacturing of our Shade Sail Structure.

Designer

Jeremy Funderburk is a master steel fabricator with 20+ years of design, hands-on ornamental fabrication and welding experience in Central Virginia. Due in part to his training in the US Navy, Jeremy's work ethic is dedicated to providing the best possible product and outstanding customer service.
