Description
This one-of-a-kind shade structure holds an 18′ x 18′ x 18′ triangle shade sail with an entry height of 12 feet that can be manually rotated 360 degrees. You can comfortably relax in the shade no matter what position the sun is at. The structure itself is composed of a steel pipe and custom aluminum extrusions that make up the arms and sub cage on the top to hold the shade sails in place. Stainless steel bolts and nuts are used for the structure and the turnbuckles.
While heavy duty, the mechanism for rotating the shade is simple. An easy hand-crank will loosen the structure and spin the shade to the desired position with the rotating handle. Simply tighten the crank to ensure it stays in position. It’s intuitive and easy to use for anyone! Enjoy the shade, no matter the time of day.
Shade post comes in a powder-coated black. You can choose from many beautiful shade fabrics.

Footer Types for Installation
There are two mounting options for your Shade Sail Structure. Choose the one that is best suited for your installation area and surface/soil. Professional installation is necessary. See our Installation page for more details.
Surface Mount
Ideal for existing patios or decks, the surface mount option attaches securely to a concrete or engineered wood foundation using a base plate with high-strength gusset plates. This is an ideal option for spaces where you can’t install the shade sail directly into the ground.
In-Ground
Our most common footer system, the in-ground mount is the ideal choice for a more permanent solution. The pole is buried directly into the ground with rebar and concrete, perfect for landscaped areas or new construction projects. It is often used for shades with an overhead structure (like hips and pyramids) because you can put it together and pour footers at the end.
